Launch of the Leaders4Equality Cohort

 

The IFC Mashreq Gender Facility launched today its new program Leaders4Equality (L4E) in partnership with the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. The launching event took place virtually in presence of Mr. Rabih Sabra Director General of the Chamber and Mr. Saad Sabrah IFC country manager along with the respective teams of the two organizations and the representative of the 10 companies which engaged in this pioneering peer learning cohort initiative. Within this program, the IFC experts’ team will support throughout the current year ten cohort companies to advance their diversity tools and promote gender inclusion and family friendly policies in workplace.

Mr. Sabra stressed in his welcome note, the important role of diversity, social inclusion and gender parity in the Chamber strategy and activities. He pointed out as well that the leaders companies will be able to initiate the transformation path of their organizations towards diversity and inclusion. Thus, they will surely be well positioned to set the inspiring model to other enterprises to lead also into a deeper sense of community and connection.
