Closing of the Leaders4Equality Cohort
Within the partnership between IFC World Bank and the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the closing forum of leaders for equality program celebrated the leading 10 cohort enterprises that took part in the program over the year 2022. Keynotes were presented by Mr. Saad Sabrah, country manager IFC WB and Mr. Norbert Mathias Fiess– Lead Country Economist and Program Leader, IFC WB, and Mrs. Hana Nehme, Director of Human Resources and Development Projects at Beirut Chamber who focused on their statements on the importance of gender diversity, inclusion and female empowerment in the private sector as a key drive for the national economy.
The leaders young women who enrolled the coaching program presented their insights and results in advancing gender diversity and inclusion policies and tools whiten their companies. Participating enterprises. Participants were awarded training Certificates signed by the Machreq Gender Facility in partnership with IFC and World Bank.
The program will resume its activities on gender and diversity within the upcoming year with a new agenda and activities.
